Nice and sharp but ultimately, the car is a tad too small in the frame to have an instant impact.

#1, ace the selective coloring, it doesn't work with the shot. Also do a 16x9 crop on the image placing the car in the lower right third of the frame. Like so

#2 you shot it way too wide, plus shooting at a slant only works on a few type of shots. I find myself turning my neck to look at the shot. Shooting at a higher shutter speed makes it also look like the car is parked on the track and there is no action being captured. Also remember to keep the horizon straight. Some drifting shots look good with a slight slant but not too much. Now if you are going to shoot wide shoot like this.

And super wide at 10mm fisheye

Always keep i mind the placement of the car, try to place the car on one of the third points. Keep your horizons as straight as possible and keep the shutter speed as low as you can shoot can get a good image, i would aim for about 1/60th to 1/160th, try to keep it on the lower end to show movement and blurring of the background. Also make the most out of the gear you have, you may not have the 500mm like others but always push your gear to the limits, never hold back just cause your focally challenged, look for place around the track that will give you the better hand on shooting, if you don't have cred a small fold able step stool from walmart will do the trick to get you up and over the fence.

Just keep trying and try to be creative and finding angles to give a feel of the action.

Hope this helps you out next time.
