...in the snow. I know people avoid centering their subjects, but do you think it works here? I should also note that I am editing on a new monitor now, (do the colors seem off?)

I think it is a cracking image, don't care about the centering issue. Well done, would love to see more.

i completely agree. Looks awesome and would love to see more! Colors look spot on for me (although i'm on an uncalibrated monitor, so that might not be worth much)

Centering works for me here, and the snow is cool. I am up in the air about her expression - it's one of those amusing type shots to me, but I look forward to seeing more!

I am super cool n' stuff.

The key to rules is knowing when to break them. This is one of those good times to break it. In fact, i would have gotten MORE centered. Great photo.

Great shots. (u do like centering dont u! :) ) Her nose on the last one looks wonky, maybe if you soften the harsh shadows a little bit!

I love Christmas Trees for Bokeh! Well done my friend!

Just out of curiosity, what were you using to light her, my sister in law is getting married on Sat and there will be Christmas trees everywhere, all I have is a 430 EX2 with Gary Fong Lightspere, but can be off camera.

Cheers!

The only thing I dont like about the next set is the lit reef in the background in the 3rd pic, seemingly attached to her head. Other than that, a great set.

She got a nice smile, the ones you posted after are better. The first top one looks like she's pissed off at something or someone, or maybe it's just me.

The rule of thirds generally goes out the window when your subject is aligned with lines that collapse in the distance. In this instance, the sidewalk she is on centers her, and makes it a great spot for her to be centered on. Great shot! Nice depth of field.
