Lake Travis wins 21-20. CC is appreciated. Shot with 300 2.8. This was my 4th time shooting football, and first time during the day. I tried a lot more on shooting tight.

#1 Running back being tackled, kid holding on for the ride.

#2 "Hey teammate, don't tackle me!"

#3 Easy first down behind two 6 7" O-linemen going to Rice, and Baylor.

#4 A game of keep away

#5/6 Interception by Cedar Park (Team in the white) while trailing

#7 University of Texas commit, linebacker.

#8 Lake Travis' QB, last drive calm and collect in the pocket

Awesome shots!! I would love to shoot similar, however hard to do with poor high school late evening lighting. You definitely have the right equipment and these photos are just spot on good!

Great pics Eric. Doesn't that 300 take some great pics.

That was heck of a game. I was there shooting it also. How nice it is to shoot during the day. I mainly shot from the LT side due to the angle of the sun. And if anyone was to look at the stats, you would of thought CP won. Really hurt when their starting QB went down a couple weeks ago.

I got carried away and talking about the game. Forgot to say more on the pics. I was mentioning that I was mainly shooting from the LT side due to the angle of the sun. It was causing dark faces. Even so, I had to add some fill light to the pics where the sun was at the back, and I would add just a little contrast. Did pretty much was sdo mentioned below. I was always glad when CP was heading to the south so I wouldn't have that sun behind them.

Very nice shots. The only thing I'd change is maybe adding a little more fill light (in post processing) or bumping up the exposure a little bit. Just a nit though. Very nice, clean shots with great captures of the action.

Canon shooter (7D, 40D). Lightroom & Photoshop user.
