Has anyone been to this? Just west of Mission theres an eccentric old fella with a few acres on the river that he's turned into a floating graveyard. Its full of dilapidated old ships including a BC ferry and an old steam ferry from Washington.

He gives guided tours of the ships (by appointment) I'm thinking of going back if anyone's interested maybe we can figure out a good day to go.

^^^ That is pretty cool. Do you think we'd be allowed to hop on the boats and shoot inside?

I saw a story on the news a while back and thought it'd be cool to go but that you'd have to break in.

Put me on the list but it's coming up wedding season so I'm limited on the weekends I can go. June 25th is probably good. :)

Just kidding, that one's definitely out.

I just called them up, and it looks like the guided tours are a thing of the past, the guy I spoke to said it would be ok to walk along the Dyke and shoot, but unless you can go down and through the ships it's prolly not worth the drive.
Sorry folks.

If anyone wants to check it out...you might get lucky and the old fella might let you have a closer look.
directions:
head east on Loughead hwy towards mission (the turn off is only a couple of km before Mission)
turn right on Chester St.
turn right on Cooper Ave. (immediately after crossing the tracks) and drive to the end.
Drive slowly though, there are children that play on the property.

They were all shot around Annieville. Between the Patullo and Alex Fraser bridges.
