Sleepy-eyed Dragonflies

These shots were taken last weekend at Hidden Lake Campground in the Mt. Zirkel/Buffalo Pass area of Colorado. Since I have had very little luck catching them flying around, I decided to get up early and hopefully find them still cool and perhaps, sleepy eyed! These were shot with the 100-400 with the 1.4TC on a tripod. There is still much to learn about shooting dragonflies.
