Hello,
I am trying to get back to birding again after a while..
Went out yesterday to my local park in a cloudy afternoon, sure enough I spotted this beauty.
1D Mark IV paired with EF500/4IS +1.4TC at ISO 1600, wide open at F/5.6.

Great captures of a hard to photograph bird, for me anyway, always to far away or on power lines

Awesome shot. Esp. like #1. Did you apply exposure compensation since the sky was so white, or did you meter off the sky?
