I shot the ShoBox: The New Generation fights at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California, on Friday night, December 3. I have three major shoots in post production so haven't had a chance to put up a gallery of my own but I did upload to Ed Mulholland's FightWireImages.com at http://fightwireimages.photoshelter.com …Cann/G0000SqtSWw4oRgM/0/1 (external link) where you can the major bouts.

I perused through them and didn't see a single shot of me. I need the high res so I can see my face in the audience!

Worse than that, they don't have the IPTC data in them, sigh.

Yes, it is a matter of who you know, not what you.

I don't know ... I put 'em up there and then don't know for three to six months. In this particular case I probably won't because I screwed up and didn't get the IPTC data into the images before uploading ... it is in the images now, sigh. I usually only sell a couple from each card even when things are going well. It is mostly a vanity thing and to help Ed out as I am paid well to shoot them in the first place by the casino.

Ahhh Dwight you know you'll sell stuff...I'm in Vegas now for HBO, but I'll make sure JC adds some keyword data, since it's in a gallery though the boxing mags will know where to look. FYI, JC emailed me yesterday, a batch of checks went out...just in time for the holidays...

I see you went center ring with your remote, I'm going for the diamond look tonight myself...

I know where you are ... I follow you on FB! LOL. As for selling images, while it does seem to be a slow trickle it is more a vanity thing since I only shoot three or four cards a year. Ed is being nice.

I have always mounted my remote as close to the center on the side where the TV cameras are. That seems to be the direction into which the victory celebrations look and where the Ring Girls look when they are shooting with patrons after the fights. You may not have noticed, but half my sales are of Ring Girls after the card is done! LOL.

Looks like I have my next fight night in early February.

As for the IPTC data, my regular routine of getting the PhotoMechanic IPTC files pre-edited didn't work as I didn't get the bout card at weigh-ins as I was shooting the Ring Girls in my studio instead. So, I was doing it while sorting and culling the images and while I created the files I never applied them to the images. I didn't even notice until I went out to FWI.

I don't think I have managed to get a set of fight pictures out to you without any hitches in a year. Pretty lame. :-(
