Taken with one shot with a Canon 40D and 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 EF-S lens at 10mm and f/5.6. I hope you enjoy.

Interesting purple sky. I can't tell if it's overcast or clear. That aside, it's well exposed. Were there more buildings to the left and right.. or was that about it? You should try to shoot it again with more of the street in the foreground and traffic zipping by (long exposure) ;).

It's not actually a panorama, just cropped (10-22). But yes, they did pick a good time to shoot. Nice colors!

It was very cold and very clear. The sun was behind me along with the few clouds. I think it was the thin layer of clouds that made the pink/purple sky.

There are a few more buildings but they were behind a very uninteresting hotel.

It was actually a scouting trip for a guy who wants to make the very shot you're talking about. I cropped out the foreground because it is mostly vacant lots with little traffic.
