Eh, I don't really care if someone else uses my name. A lot of photography businesses, even people's names, I see multiples of around the country. I'm just bummed someone beat me out on facebook, even though I got the domain. I guess I will go with PHOTO instead of Photography, or maybe make a friend page instead of a fan page.

the problem with the friend page is, Facebook can technically shut it down if they happen to notice. lots of people do it, but if they notice and I'm pretty sure they do from time to time, they will close it up. it's against their terms.

better just to do the business one from the start.

Facebook is not forever. Website domain names are not forever. Choose a business name based on permanent characteristics and don't sweat the rest...jump in on the next new thing that will supplant Facebook, wait for your perfect domain name to become available. Do your business well and wait for the other guy to go under.
