CC is appreciated.

I used B800 w/ white shoot thru umbrella on camera left and 540EZ w/shoot thru umbrella on the right. What else can I do to improve on these?
One thing I want is to buy a strip box to use as hair light!

Can't say I'm an expert, but it looks like you're on the right track.

You did a terrific job of getting lots of light into their eyes, as I can really see the color of their eyes! With the last shot of the little boy, being that he is dressed a bit more formal, I would love to have seen him standing up, feet together, 45 degree angle, perhaps with one hand in his pocket. Once you have him standing like that, grab his shoulders and twist them gently towards the camera, telling him not to move his feet, they are bubble gummed to the floor. This pose, with one hand in the pocket like that, full length, is always cute, smiling, or not smiling. Sometimes I'll give them a quarter and tell them to hold in the their pocket hand and if the hand stays in the pocket until I tell them to take it out, they can keep it. Works every time.
I like the shot of the little girl, and like that you had the bow/barrette camera side, but she is angled a bit too much in profile. That is more like 90 degrees and it might look better at 45 or so. We would see more of the pretty detail on her dress front. I love the way you posed her hands too. very cute. I also like that you have her standing, not sitting, as her dress is then allowed to fall naturally and not be all bunched up, wrecking the line of it. nice.

It's sort of brown/purple-ish... I didn't like it at first, but now I think I do :)
