Do you ever see any snakes on these events ? I hate 'em .

Mitsubishi Galant VR4 - and it won.
The guy pushes it pretty hard.

Haha...yeah, sometimes, although I haven't seen one for a while but it gives you a bit of a spook when you see one - especially if it's big one.
Most of our rallies are run during the cooler months to avoid the risk of bushfire.
That's when the snakes are hibernating so it's usually not a problem.
It's only when things start to warm up a bit that you usually see them but they're usually more afraid of humans than the other way around.
If you make enough noise or leave them alone, they stay away and generally don't cause a problem .
This event was supposed to have been run about six weeks earlier but the Forestry administrators pulled the pin after some really heavy rain had washed out some of the roads but it's been reasonably cool and the snakes haven't really started to stir yet.

Well you have so many deadly ones ,and horrid spiders ,that for once I would probably be with crowd.

Surprised there is not more Aussi V8 stuff on the rallies,Phil .

The old Galant VR4 is not state of the art ,these days ,so surprised to see that winning with all the scoobies and evos around.
