Hey Richard.

I just returned from camp in Dents Run last week after a successful week long deer season.

I stumbled upon a herd of elk on my way home after heading into "town" (St. Mary's) for some supplies. I started a new thread with some pics.

I agree, some of the elk are very tame, like the ones I photographed. However, there are many elk that are just as wary or even more so than any of their relatives out west. The ones near my cabin in the big woods are near impossible to get close enough to see, let alone photograph. I do actually have some decent video of a massive 7x7 out in the deep woods while I was sitting in my deer stand, i'll hatfa try and upload that some time.
