my first non house sparrow at the feeder. Hopefully more to follow soon. :lol:

I remember getting excited when seeing something different, too (Heck, still do). Enjoy the journey. Keep track of your species on a list, and watch it grow. Then, you will keep getting excited when someone new shows up and you get to knock another off your list. Be careful, though, it can grow to an obsession...as many here will testify. ;)

Nice shot of the dove. You'll have plenty more at your feeders as soon as word gets around. I'm over in OH and see 10-12 species daily. Maybe more now that the snow is here and natural foot a bit harder for the little guys to locate.
