Had my dad's car detailed at work today. Figured I would snap a few reflective shots of it.

Great shots. I feel number 4 would be a little more interesting if the focus had been closer to the camera by the headlight, and then the background would have been less in focus. But as it stands I see where the focus was, right on the reflection on the door so good eye catching the reflection.


60D / Rebel XT / Sigma EX 10-22 / Nifty Fifty / Etc...

originally, for the fourth shot, the focus was on the headlight more, but I wanted the door panel reflective shot. Just a personal choice.

if i ever bought a new car that was black it would go straight to the body shop to be wetsanded and a few coats of clear layed down on top, then wetsanded at 1500 then 3000 then buffed all out.

.....but yeah, kinda ridiculous you are paying such high dollar for orange peel. :cry:
