I've seen wedding photos here that weren't much different to that in terms of exposure, you know :-)

Now with added bokeh. (Good lenses are irrelevant, apparently. Just add bokeh and textures in post. It's the in thing.)

YN560 at low power into Lumiquest LTP. First time trying it out. I should have used a greenish gel to get rid of the color cast on the walls from the overhead lights.

no soft lighting in this one :O
lighting set up was a e640 up about 12 feet with a 20` grid on it, a few feet in front of the model.

can check it out on flickr by clicking here

haha nope, so far just building my portfolio trying to get internships and jobs and being able to start charging, making sure I can deliver a project when promised, etc.

thanks! yeah it was a lot of fun they were ecstatic, paid well above what I quoted them which is always nice.

Grey seamless is tricky, if you have enough studio space you do not really need it unless you want a shadow on a background and still deep grey, cause if you have the space to put 15 feet or so between your subject and a white seamless background, you can make pure white turn to black and anything in between with just different power settings on strobes and lighting techniques, however when space is a huge factor like it is for me (I have MAYBE 6 feet between model and the background where I'm shooting) then grey seamless is a very nice option to have! I suggest it!
