Quick shoot. Model stopped by to pick up something she had forgot at my place some weeks back. I had a light setup because I was doing headshots earlier that day. She said she had some stuff in her trunk an about 30 min to spare for a quick shoot.

Excuse the mess. Fiance is scrapbooking.

Your day to day life is very different from mine. :) When someone stops by my place to pick something up, underwear shots on the floor are never the outcome.

Great shot!

^^ I think #1 needs more flash power or move your shooting position so that less sun on the face. Also little too much smoothing for a guy IMHO.

That second shot is great! I can't work out what angle they were at as it doesn't look like they were as the image is.

Looking at her hair I'd guess the image is turned almost 90*. When taken mom was holding the child above her.

I should probably mention that in the first post. All of them are taken with 17-55 kit lens on the 450d. First two have speedlite in the softbox to the right and reflector on the left, third its just bounced of the ceiling and last is just build camera flash with dyi cardboard/napkin sodtbox and yes its turned almost 90*

I like them Dan, but I'm having a little trouble figuring out how you did Machelle.

I have a couple ideas but would like to hear your lighting setup.
