For some reason, the scroll wheel on my mouse operates the flash pages instead of the real page itself... not allowing me to scroll down, kind of a bugger.

Otherwise, looks good.

Great looking site

One small problem I was having, was when viewing your galleries, the arrows wanted to jump around a bit. If I kept the mouse in the same place, sometimes the arrows would shift in such a way that I started going backward instead of forward. It just seemed a bit "buggy".

Man that is a REALLY busy page/site. I look at it and I don't know what to click next, and once I do I have to find it among the clutter. I'd absolutely, definitely simplify. Remove the four images on the front page and elsewhere, they don't add much, and they take away space for content.

I find it weird that the gallery pages add a new part into the page, and push the existing stuff down. I guess it's because the pages are so busy you needed to find somewhere else to put your actual content.

Packages page: "The wedding photography packages that I provide go far beyond the usual limits that are imposed by photographers.". That starts out negative, make it positive.

Having the packages on different pages makes it hard to compare them. You should give people a grid if you're going to do it like that. The biggest package doesn't fit inside the bounding box.

That points out there's not much space for content on your busy pages.

I'd quite like an "about us" type page, saying a little about who you are and what you do.

Just for comparision my site (external link) is quite simple. I spend maybe two days on it, using a purchased wordpress template. I posted a thread in this forum about how I did it. If I get sick of the style I can change it any time by buying a new theme, and I get to keep my content, which is awesome.

I do not normally post on this type of topic, but I have to say this is one of the better wedding/photography sites I have visited. Well put together, easy to navigate, and all the information one needs without having to be bothered by a live person until actually necessary.

just a few of my thoughts...

I have fixed the arrows on the galleries. I will have to look into the scrolling as it is buried in some javascript (not my forte).

Re: Tim
I won't be simplifying as I am very happy with the design and most importantly my clients are too. I am deliberately avoiding following the same rules which most photographers seem to follow with their websites these days.

With regards to the packages I will be adding in a price matrix (had one on the old site) and also having it as a downloadable pdf, I just haven't got to it yet.

All the important information is on the site as far as content goes as I have cut back on the amount of text from the predecessor.

Fair enough, it's personal taste. I will point out one more thing... a starving man would like a loaf of bread, but he would love a gourmet meal.

Oh you might want to check the "my package prices" on two of your sites home pages as the links currently are broken.

Awesome thanks for that, I forgot to update them after I redid my website!

Bounding box issues sorted (p margin settings in css). The site was designed to only have limited content in the picture frames it was fine in Firefox, Chrome and Safari I just forgot to check all the pages in IE.

Price matrix now added as a downloadable PDF. I intend to add some visuals of each package when I get the chance and change it slightly. It will do for now though.

I have also added a slideshow on the first page. I am still looking into the scrolling issue.

One thing I can say about the new site after just 5 days live it is doing rather well SEO wise. For many of the venues you don't even need to search for any photography related term simply "venue name wedding" or in some cases "venue name" lead to my site appearing on page one of the Google searches.

I am even entry number one for "international wedding photographer" if you search on google.com.au

I am happy with it and the feedback I have been getting from clients is very good too.

In Google, make sure you click "View customizations" on the bottom and then click "without these improvements". ;)
