My son decided that he wanted to try out riding the dog. It didn't go too well. The dog would lay down, let my son get on him, and as soon as the dog would get up my son would fall off. lol He tried riding him 3-4 times even after spilling off. Future bucking bronco? hmm

brings a new meaning to Mutt-on busting.
:)

(for those unfamiliar with the event: mutton busting is kids riding sheep)

That last shot is a hoot!

nothing poor about it. He loved it. He's sorta a daredevil even thought he's not even 2 yet.

yah, lol. The soft Oregon rain saturated ground is just fine. It was pretty soggy so I wasn't overly concerned. Now, when he gets a little older I need to keep an eye on him for I'm sure he'll be able to hang on beyond the dog getting up off the ground and more than a couple of steps.

The dog lets my son sit on him all the time. I don't think the dog likes the whole "riding" part of it but he doesn't mind the attention of being sat on (when he's laying down) or snuggled with.

I absolutely love these pics. Only cause I have seen this done on a lab before with a less than 1 year old boy haha. :)

Great job!!

From the e-trade ad "Apparently riding the dog like its a small horse IS FROWNED UPON by this ESTABLISHMENT!" LOL

Great shot! Thanks for sharing.
