It was a very special couple of days for sure. Now it's up to me to foster the relationships that were started that weekend. It's paid off a little already in that I got invited to ride along a couple weeks ago in both the Bobcat and the Stinson with more chances to shoot both so...

Stay Tuned, this could get interesting. Got something kind of special in the works right now that grew out of this as well.

Jay, that last one reminds me of some often used shots of the corsair(s) coming back from a mission in the Black Sheep series. Really a nice image.

Another superb set of 'nuggets' Jay, the lighting reminds me of the Ghosts calendars.

Great shots Jay. Airshows are pretty much done in this part of the country until spring. I guess I will have to stay tuned to POTN and watch for posts from you guys in the desert & down south until then.

Thanks. I wish I'd taken the time to roll some video on this hop but I was having too much fun shooting stills.

Definitely in the middle of the "why we live here weather" right now. Just wish the economy was such that people wouldn't be so hesitant to burn Av Gas. Aside from organized activities (Fly Ins, Pancake Breakfasts, etc...) there isn't nearly as much flying going on as we're used to seeing this time of year. Come spring and summer, I'll be envious of you guys back east because you'll have flying and we'll have heat. Plus, stuff is so much closer in your neck of the woods. I face a 3-6 hour car ride to get to many events in western AZ and SoCal.

WOW! I don't know what else to say! To get the opportunity to shoot photos like this would be amazing but I can't imagine doing it any better than you've done. You nailed it!
