Because they do the right thing.

Purchased a 50D with the Loyalty Program back in April, with 90 day warranty.

Last week got a err 30 message, shutter problem @10,000 actuations. I called support and they said that I needed to send it in for repair.

E-mail today said that I should have it back in one week, no charge.

What great service.

Awesome! That's why canon is top brand. They have the service to back the gear they sell.
