I came across this picture of a Yellow XT. I'm pretty sure this is authentic. So I guess there is a worse color then silver for a camera. ;)

Is it a special underwater/all-weather or astrophotography edition? Where's the popup flash? I don't see the line where the flash would pop up.

Whatever it is Rebel or XT. Sure is a strange color for a camera. Although I wouldn't mind having a Dark navy blue color in Matt Finish myself. Anything but silver and (yelow, white, red, etc) but Black or Dark Blue I wouldn't mind. As you can tell I am not a fan of silver electronics of any kind. Which includes TVs, DVD players, Stereos, Cameras, and everything else. I like the color black (or Navy Blue).

Its a rebel. Not long after the rebel came out someone showed how to take it apart and paint it. They painted it black then later someone painted it yellow. This was last year. Already seen it.

I tried using babelfish, http://babelfish.altavista.com/ (external link), but couldn't find anything on the page that mentioned why it was yellow.

I was just going to say that www.altavista.com (external link) says its just Dutch Humour.

Its certianly not a seperate case over the orginal 350D one, its either a brand new case, moulded in Yellow Plastic, or its a good Photoshop job.

So long and thanks for all the flash

Oh so Canon didn't go over board with its commercial cameras. Phew. That would be embarassing seeing people with hot pink, bright yellow and lime green Canon cameras while you and I just have the nice black ones. Phew...!
