I came across this picture of a Yellow XT. I'm pretty sure this is authentic. So I guess there is a worse color then silver for a camera.

Sep 06, 2005 23:53 | #5 Whatever it is Rebel or XT. Sure is a strange color for a camera. Although I wouldn't mind having a Dark navy blue color in Matt Finish myself. Anything but silver and (yelow, white, red, etc) but Black or Dark Blue I wouldn't mind. As you can tell I am not a fan of silver electronics of any kind. Which includes TVs, DVD players, Stereos, Cameras, and everything else. I like the color black (or Navy Blue). Christopher J. Martin

Not long after the rebel came out someone showed how to take it apart and paint it. They painted it black then later someone painted it yellow. This was last year.
