Now I've got to faff on selling the 430 (at a loss of course) and paying the difference to the 580. Unless you really, absolutely cannot afford it (or in this case don't think who ever is buying you it can afford it) then get the 580. Can you provide more detail on the things that are bothering you about the 430? I use manual exposure settings on the copy machine
