LOL! All I need to do now is go out and use it but, it will be some time before I post results for my planned vacation in July. :)

did you have your preorder back in december? what are your initial thoughts on it so far? 14mm works fine at f/4 w/no vignetting? I've been trying to get a hold of one of these forever now.

I did a preorder back in December and just got it in April. All I can tell you right now is that build quality is bar none compared to the Cokin variant. According to the sample image at Nikonians.org, there is no vignetting but, I've yet to find out myself if there are any issues. I will post some test shots in the near future so please check back. Thanks! :)
Did you preorder at 2Filter.com?

no i'm not on a waiting list.... I've been putting it off because i've just been so busy, and now with my vacation coming up in July, I might have to just buy one at a gouged price or just rent a 16-35vr since i already have all the filters i need in 77 thread.

I would suggest doing a preorder. 2Filter doesn't charge your card till they ship. :)

nice. Do you see any weird reflections in the corners of 14mm shots with or without the baffles? When I saw it at the trade show they did NOT have baffles and I told the guy they'd have issues with reflections... He laughed at me then asked why I'd say that....

also, 6x7? Is that enough space to get the transition where you need it? I'm SO glad to be shooting on lenses that DON'T need this now. There are times I miss my 12-24mm or 14-24mm, but yeah, 4x6 is just sooooo much easier to deal with. Too bad they didn't share the same specs as cokin's Xs though...

I haven't been out to test this yet but, I will post my findings later. I just put the thing together and took pics of the setup. :) The baffles do look functional but, only real world shooting will tell. As far as the size of the filter goes, I've yet to test if 6x7 is enough to get the transition where I need it. I also ordered a Singh Ray 3 stop Reverse GND a few days ago and it measures 6x9! So, this should be a good start to see if there are any limitations with this holder. :)

6x9 makes a hell of a lot more sense to me. Same ratio as 4x6 and I think that's what cokin's Xs were too. I'm sure Lee had to at least test that though, so I'd bet 6x7 works, but not as the cheater ND way...

It's usually about a two week wait.
