IMO there is no subject. It just seems like a random section of road. I lose interest quickly

Looks like you're getting what you wanted - just that it's not such a fresh concept to photographers. The first one has better proportions - the horizon and verticals near the Rule of Thirds placement, the lights heading towards the corner, though a small crop from the top can make it feel a bit tighter. Top one's not quite sharp - all the distance lights manifest as a 2x2 pixel blur, sans any single-pixel spots, but that's just by way of confirming my general impression - the left side of the road looks a bit soft.

5D and too much glass. Mamiya 645E.

Agree with what's been said already, I'd add that you should try to time your shots a bit better which would prevent things like the car changing lanes and starting while midframe. It can mean more time and more shot attempts, but I'm constantly conscious of it when I shoot moving vehicles. I often try for both: with cars and without. Which gives me twice as many opportunities when shooting.

As for PP, I would probably do some clone work with some of the flare that you have, and I'd do a bit of distortion correction. Last bit of advice, would be to shoot a bit earlier and see if you could get some blue into your skies.
