Okay, I'm having a brain fart. What's the name of the 15 prong cable I need to run from my laptop to my LCD TV? My laptop isn't HDMI capable so it's definitely not that.
Thanks in advance!

Dec 12, 2010 03:13 | #3 Okay thanks Ken! DVI is the same cable format though, right? My laptop is 1920x1200 so I want to make full use of the 1080p of my TV if I can. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here

The PC seemed to auto detect it better. My newer Samsung LCD is driven by a PS3 via a receiver both using HDMI and that looks pretty awesome too. It might be because i'm still on XP, which is a bit old. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.
