color problems

so i made my own user settings in my t1i, contrast/color/saturat​ion/sharpness settings or w.e....anyways....i took amazing photos that popped with vivid colors....i import them into LR, they look fine, and then it processes the standard preview and i loose the vividness :mad:

i downloaded DPP and used that and my colors are just as i took them....whats the deal? only the canon program reads the profile?


i would much rather use LR...any help?

I thinks that's the issue then... LR or ACR don't read the camera settings embedded in the raw file.
