Canon 7D f-stop change HELP!

So this just happened recently and I don't know how it happened. When I want to change my f-stop in Manual mode it doesn't let me use the scroll wheel, instead I have to press the quality button and change the f-stop from there. How can I change this. Please help!


Canon 7D
28-200mm f/3.5-5.6

beneath the scroll wheel is the lock button set?

Give the guy a break.

A couple a days ago, I was trying to load some firmware in the lab. I say to firmware guy, "the firmware isn't loading, something's wrong". He says to me "Is the chip in the socket?". "Uh no" -- big oops.
