After so much researching, I finally got the S95. I really like this little camera and will be carrying it with me 24/7.

I just have one quick question to those with miniature effect experience. How do you achieve this fake tilt-shift look for both pictures and videos? I looked everywhere in the manual, but just couldn't figure this out...

Thanks in advance.

Thanks va rider, but I am already aware of that way of creating miniature effects... I thought there was a special function within the S95...

Not that I know of... but ... if there is... we might both learn something!

Put it on SCN mode, press FUNC/SET and turn the dial to Miniature effect.

In movie mode do the same.

No problem. I haven't used it much but took a few pics of a construction site awhile back and turned out pretty neat.

Just hit the set button, and you can change where it is, and or if its vertical or horizontal

Another question guys. Which screen protector are you using? I was considering the GGS optical glass protector, but read that it does not have an exact fit... Any recommendations?

I'm just using cheap stuff from ebay. Its not an exact fit but good enough for me.

Remember that you can also change the area of the picture that is going to be in focus from a narrow slice, to a much larger slice. Just look at the directions and when you are in the mode when you can go from landscape to portrait, you can also increase/decrease the focal plane. It's awesome!
