Christmas Card Shots....

I know these are cropped pretty tight but my wife wanted a few close up shots for our christmas card.
It was snowing and about 20 degrees outside (crazy I know) but she said she couldn't wait any longer and was determined to have a christmas card with snow on the trees for the family picture.
I did my best to try and make them look like they are not about to freeze to death.
Are the kids to washed out?

Nice lighting you have, but I agree that the skin smoothing is a bit too much overdone. I love the smiles and the poses though.

Agree, too much skin smoothing on your wife's photo makes her look unnatural. Her eyes also look over done, too vibrant and too white.

Disagree -- Skin smoothing rocks! They look dreamy.

Skin to over-done in the 1st image...love the eyes in that one....rest of the series is good.

Like it's been said ... over done on the skin. (at least #1)

Also, the last one of the boy ... I'd clone out the dark spot on the upper left. It's distracting.

Thank you to all that replied any and all C&C helps me. I think I need to reshoot these, I screwed up on exposing them. I tried to pp out all the redness caused by the cold but had a tough time and went overboard. Also for some reason I am getting a lot of noise in some of my images even at low iso #'s, I think its probably me not properly exposing the shot. Any suggestions on how to reduce noise/grain?
