I have some budget coming together and am planning to upgrade to a new body. Should have about $1350 in the next week or so.

The 60D is plenty of camera for me, but with used 7D's popping up for $1250-$1300, the $300 difference (and no tax on a used buy) is tempting.

What would you do?

Thanks in advance...

Same question here. Where are you seeing 7D's at 1250-1300, if you don't mind me asking?

Nothing wrong with used most of the time, I'd get a 7D over a 60D unless you really love that articulating screen.

I figure the 7D is an upgrade that is likely to serve my needs longer, perhaps as what/how I shoot changes. I like the idea of MA, although all of my lenses are sharp on the XSi, I have heard of even more improved accuracy from some who have used MA to fine tune...

There are a few CL ads on 7D's. One as low as $1200 - body only, and even one at $1400 with the grip, extra battery.

My vote is definitely for 7D.

Check the classifieds on this forum. Probably at least 3 or 4 that sold in the last week.

Read the Canon Loyalty Program thread in Market Watch. Refub 7D body, from Canon, w/ a 90-day warranty is $1087.20 + tax (free shipping). Save yourself $100 - $200, and get one w/ a 90-day warranty.
