Very nice. f/2 lens likely helped! What modifier did you use on the flash?

I wouldn't consider that a "snapshot' at all. I quite like it. He is so cute, I love the cowlicks in his hair and the grin. Typical little boy.

Thanks!

Yes, his hair is impossible (well, improbably anyway!). He gets harder by the day to persuade to sit still long enough to take a photo.

I Love this, really! And this is not a snapshot at all! Which lens did you use?

Definately more a portrait than a snap. Great work.

I like the photo and impression. how far have you been? did you shoot RAW? how do you manage to get the true color of his hair, it's hard for me with my son, can you share you secret.
thanks again

I'm not sure quite what you mean with the 'how far' question...but yes, I did shoot RAW. And honestly, if there are any secrets to photography I don't possess any of them! I adjusted the white balance slightly in ACR and that was pretty much it...probably the only two pieces of advice that could come out of this photo are (i) always shoot RAW and (ii) try and bounce your flash if it's on-camera.

Glad you liked it, thanks.
