I bought a LumpPro 160...pretty decent flash for what it is. I have a frankensteined pc cord for it, though I would be interested in getting a hot shoe sync cord. Has anyone had any good/bad experience with the cheaper versions on ebay? Here is an example:

I'm not sure why you would bother with that when it carries the ETTL information and your flash cant take advantage of it. Sort of like buying a satellite phone to make local calls. Just buy yourself a good PC Sync cord with the screwlock ends. www.flashzebra.com (external link) can help you. The one you like to is overkill for that flash.

A little overpriced at $20, if you want a Canon "knock-off" ETTL sync cord get this ($13) :

The cable is whatever really...ETTL or non, doesn't matter to me, just asking if anyone has experience with the non canon ones. Having the ETTL option isn't bad, always nice to have if I do end up getting a 580 later on.

Or better yet, buy yourself a set of radio triggers for $30 and go cordless.

The whole flash deal is new to me, any particular radio triggers you'd recommend?
