The light intensity increases towards the edge, which simply serves to draw the eye out. If you want to crop it there, consider burning the top edge a little. I can see some appeal... keep experimenting.

I'm assuming a firework. If so you've missed the money shot but may work as part of a pyrotechnics slideshow.

Yeah, it was a firework, my first attempt ever at them. Most of them were rubbish, so I thought I would play around with crops to make them a bit more interesting, might put a couple more up tomorrow.
