B+W 77mm Kaesemann MRC Circular Polarizer Filter is on sale for $110.19 at maxsaver.net. Free shipping.

I got one from them for $147 and some change in June.

Much cheaper than B&H.

You're welcome. I just got one too. (I sold my first one for $150 a while back to free up some cash for other things.)

Is this a reputable site to order from? There are fake B+W fakes floating out there

These are from Hong Kong but are real B+W's. I found this site from other threads. I believe they also sell on eBay as hvstar, or something like that.

I ordered one from them at this price over the Thanksgiving weekend. It arrived last Thursday, with free shipping from Hong Kong. Great price, but an even better filter!

A side question: where can I find info on various B+W circular polarizer? I thought mine (external link)was pretty good until now I see here that there is a B+W circular polarizer that costs a lot more and that everybody seems to love so much.

Hello, friends, I've been away from this site and photography for a few years. Too much drama in life. Now I'm catching up.

the kasemann version is fully coated on both sides and somewhat more weather resistant. Even though I shoot in some crazy weather here in yosemite, I doubt that's 1000% needed. But im now sure that my filter will outlast my camera when the conditions go sour.

I've amassed a bit of reseach on Polarizers and Filters in general. Believe it or not, B+W isn't always the top filter... and the kaesman slim is a better preformer than either just slim or just kaeseman...MRC is always a must.

Here's a link.
If the mod needs to disable the http just search the topic, "Polarizer Test" and go to lenstip.com
