I would like suggestions for storing hard copies. I'm looking for; holds letter size (8.5x11 inch) paper; pages can be shifted around to keep same subject matters together as collection expands and easy/comfortable for friends/family to look at with good protection for the photos. This would be for long term. Thanks

Doesn't look like it would be "...easy/comfortable for friends/family to look at with good protection for the photos".

What you are describing sounds like a photo album

Try archival print sleeves. Some, at least, come punched for 3-ring binders, and you can get sizes that take single 8x10s, 2x 5x7s, 3x 4x6 or 4x 3x5 on a side.

I have a photo portfolio/multi ring binder from Itoya . Refills are available so you can buy as many as you like and rotate them.

You want something that is made for photo storage [acid free etc.]

If you could limit yourself to classic dimension 8x10, there are products like this one
