I'm sending my Markins M20 back to Markins for repairs. I originally bought the version without the Markins QR system and attached the RRS QR system to the ballhead with loctite (the version supposedly removable with tools). If any of you have seen how they attach, you probably understand why I'm asking how to remove the RRS QR piece. There's a hole in the center that screws onto a threaded "bolt" protruding from the top of the ballhead. There's really nothing to clamp onto with tools that I can see. The folks at Markins suggested I remove it "if possible."
