Any comparison to Topaz? For those of you that have used both....

What does Portraiture do that Portrait Professional doesn't?

From what I've heard so far it does less, but it costs more. What am I missing?

The major benefits of Portraiture for me is that it can be integrated into Photoshop actions and droplets and it easily works with all the skin tones in the image. It fits more conventionally into a Photoshop workflow. It's also somewhat harder to be unsubtle with Portraiture (which is why it's useable as an action).

Portrait Professional works better for the situations serious enough for you to say, "Hold everything," and depart from your normal workflow to handle serious issues.

I've used Topaz tools, and I really like some of them, especially Adjust, ReMask, and DeNoise, but for ordinary skin treatments and sharpening, I find Topaz tools limited.

picked up the 64 bit version last night. Something like $108 with the discount code. It installed flawlessly as a stand-alone and as a CS5 plugin. I tried it on 2 images only as I was a little short on time last night but I was very impressed. I am going to test it out a little more extensively this weekend.
