Lots of snow sunday and monday around here but today broke nice and clear although quite cold. Managed to last in the blind about a half hour before heading in for some fireplace time with a little liquid heat. All taken with a 70-200L on a 50d. C&C always welcome.

Thanks!

nice shots, clear and sharp. I can't find any birds here in MN. It's like -12 degree.

Mike:

beautiful shots! The jays are perfect color. And yeah ... we've been getting the snow, too. Brutal cold as well. Sun finally peeked out a couple of times today. I've been doing nothing but shooting through the windows and deck doors. Results not so good!

Really nice images, thanks for sharing.

I would have taken some of that 'liquid heat' into the blind with me. We have quite a bit of snow, but temperatures have been fairly mild (for the season) lately - in the mid to upper 30's during the day; 27F here at the moment at 6:00 a.m.

G'Jim c):{- ... 2x 50D (Both Gripped), 2x 7D (Both Gripped), 2x 5D Mk II (One gripped), 1x 60D, assorted glass (10-800mm), sundry accoutrements.
The beginner clicks the shutter and says "Let's see what I got." ... The experienced photographer thinks "How can I capture what I see?"

Beautiful shots. The background really makes these birds 'pop' out of the picture.
