How are things on the west side of the country?

COLD, WET AND DAMP. YOU KNOW, NORTHWEST WINTER-ISH. QUITE DIFFERENT THAN THE WARM, WET AND DAMP THAT IS NORTHWEST SUMMER-ISH. YOU?

Thats my friend who is OCD. Every time we go to a restaurant he needs to have his eating utensils on the left side. He stares at them and dips them into his water. Tries to clean the hell out of them even though they are fine. Once thats done he need to place his napkin in the correct spot in front of him. Its one big show every single time. It doesn't matter if we are eating at a fancy restaurant or McDonald's. Its the same routine.

What's the opposite of OCD? 'Cause that's what I am. I don't have a ten second rule for things dropped on the floor. It's more like a ten minute rule. Around here, if the cats or dog don't get it first, it's fair game.

Sawyer is SUCH a great dog!

Picked up out in the middle of nowhere about 3 months ago. Emaciated and frozen, the people who found him kept him, and got him healthy again while searching for his owners.
After 3 months, with no answers to their ads, and he finally being healthy, they called us.

I'm in love with this boy. Oh my GOSH.
He is gentle and sweet, and SO FREAKING soft! His eyes just melt your heart.

He's only about a year old, mixed mutt. (The best kind ;) )

Are they okay owners for him to go back to? good job, he is lucky he found you guys.

Lizzie is our other new gal, about 6 months old.
She is a hoot, and she LOVES Sawyer.
He is so good with her, and doesn't mind when she jumps all over him.

When I was trying to get photos of Sawyer (I had them both on leash for a walk), everytime I'd tell Sawyer to sit, Lizzie would get between him and me and sit down too. Then look at me as if to say "Look... I can sit too!"
Then she'd give Sawyer a quick kiss, and bounce off again.

Awwww, cute.

OCD is a bona fide form of mental illness... and fortunately it does interupt his life but does not debilitate it... I had a client years and years ago who had OCD so severely that it completely disrupted his life... his OCD outlets were handwashing and lint picking... he'd spend hours picking bits of lint off sweaters, blankets etc... He had several other issues but those were the most disruptive...

Totally agree Jenn. Its the reason why we let him be. Kind of like an unspoken truth among us.

Not really. Technically, it will come about the same time as it did yesterday.

Signed,

Your Boringly Accurate Friend.

Yeah, but it came earlier than I wanted to get up.

He so does. You can't help but smile when you see him.

There is interest in him from one of our hospice care places here. He may become a therapy dog! :)

Watch this and smile. :)

The one thing about your character is that you make a good hero AND a good villian. Nice that you aren't in a box. Like a mouse I know. All hero and NEVER gets any weapons.:lol:

and I've always meant to join that paperback swap thing but honestly, I never get rid of my books.

<----Does not like to be in a box. :p
I heard from some pirate dude that you are unsafe with tools or weapons.

T-Shirt weather for Jim.;)

Actually, working outside today, I had a t-shirt AND a long sleeved shirt on. It was too warm for a jacket, being right around the freezing mark. :D

Are they okay owners for him to go back to?

In my opinion, absolutely not. But it's good that his owners were searched for before we got him, that fulfills the 'small print' part of finding a stray for us. ;)
If we find a stray in that condition, we also search 'diligently' for the rightful owners for the amount of time required of us to make it legal for us to claim the dog as ours. ;)

Sesame not almond. It should not be hard to get. Mail order if you need.
