Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Did she have to have it calibrated or has it done well from the start?

I did not have to calibrate it, but I have to say that (and this is not a canon/nikon thing...it's a sigma with canon/nikon thing) that I have seen far less incidence of focus issues with the sigma lenses on the nikon cameras. It doesn't mean it doesn't happen, just to a lesser degree.

I've seen about 20-25% of the people here happy with the sigma 50 right out of the gate. Whereas I've seen about 15-20% of the nikon people unhappy with it and sending it in. Some funny canon switched to nikon people send theirs in for calibration anyway because they are sure there must be a problem with it. :lol: I'm not kidding.

G'night Heather. Have fun being a princess ;)

we are going from 550 square feet to 1750 square feet. Just typing that brings a smile to my face...

Holy Moly. The smallest place I've ever lived in (other than our RV) was 1400 square. It was just a perfect size for me and my two kiddos.

Pup heard the mail guy and started barking/baying like she does, running the length of the house to alert me to the danger...:lol: I thanked her properlly and she subsided, after which she needed to get a drink of water (I am sure her throat was terrible parched). I don't know what she heard, but it caused her Beagle Senses to go on alert, and she bark/bayed...INTO the water!!! HAHAHAHAHA!! Which then bubbled over the dish and made her jump and bark again!!!

OMG I have TEARS!!! :lol:!!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHHA!!!! doggies can be soooooo silly!

Hi Pea, I just got back in.

I went to the store then an old friend from my past called me from Moscow. We found each other on FB and briefly exchanged numbers but until she called I had no idea why she was in Moscow. I guess she married a foreign service guy. I do like it when I find someone awake as me to talk to at 3AM :lol:

Happy Birthday Omar!

I have never figured out why ANYONE would drink everclear. Talk about the worst liquid on the planet. guh. Well maybe sweet hard alcohol is worse but not by much.

Only thing Everclear is good for is spodys or to make the drink 'apple pie'. In either drink you can't taste the everclear and it hits you fast!!!!!:lol:

This is so hard. Mary took Baylee for us while Wade and I were gone, and that's where the pups were born.

I'm soooooo very sorry, Cat. {{{hugs}}}

OCD is a bona fide form of mental illness... and fortunately it does interupt his life but does not debilitate it... I had a client years and years ago who had OCD so severely that it completely disrupted his life... his OCD outlets were handwashing and lint picking... he'd spend hours picking bits of lint off sweaters, blankets etc... He had several other issues but those were the most disruptive...

My aunt has OCD. She has to clean her house in a certain order. Certain rooms first, the items in the room all in a certain order. If anything interupts her she has to start over.:eek: I can't even imagine! I have a hard time even cleaning my living area, mush less in a certain order.:lol:
