Good Day

Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. Makes getting older more worthwhile. :D

Zane, always nice to see those handsome boys.

Jim, I like your new sig ;-)a

Yeah, something I don't hear very often, so I wanted to wear it for a short while.

(loved the shots of your brother's dog, she is stunning!)

She is beautiful, and has caramel coloured eyes to match. :)

Beautiful place, where is it? If you said I missed it.

I went back and re-read the thread from last year looking for a clue....didn't find one....but Pea has an anniversary coming. And today also marks the one year anniversary of Zelda coming to live with us....what an amazing transformation....she really fit in.

Wow, that seems fast. Congrats to the bunch of you on that relationship.

It's not so bad, as someone once pointed out when you get to a certain age it takes you all night to do what you used to do all night :-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM!

Thanks for the Anniversary wishes everyone. :)

19 years ago, today, I was a nervous teenager, holding the hand of a man I'd only known for 4 months, and standing in front of a judge in Vegas (no cheezy Elvis for us).
I was a hypoglycemic who hadn't eaten yet that day because I was too nervous, so my blood sugar was all whacky.
As soon as Wade got all serious, and started repeating his vows, I thought that was the funniest thing I'd ever seen (had never seen him serious before that point), and I laughed. Hard. The whole rest of the time. To the point that the judge asked if I was ok, and if this was something I really wanted to do.

Well, Wade married me, even though I laughed my butt off, and even though we had to pawn a set of heirloom china to have enough money for the marriage license.

We didn't have our 'Wedding' till Feb 15th.

Nice new pub. :) Sorry I missed the move.

Love the photos so far. Zane, you could post photos of the boys all day and it wouldn't bother me any. :)

HEY! Who brought the stinking spam??

It's largely an argument of convenience, but the older I get, the more I fall back on the hope that quality is far more important than quantity.

Lois just reminded me that we have an anniversary coming up in about a month. She asked what we were going to do. I told her I was going to try to find a place where they have live, nude mud-wrestling.

Or not.

Maybe we'll just go out to dinner.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Nice, Cat :) I am glad you laughed your arse off at your own wedding. Totally fits your character (even though I have not even met you!), and makes that day a little more memorable :) Happy Anniversary again!

How is your vacation going?

Not bad. I haven't really done anything yet other than sleep and walk Minnie occasionally. I'm getting all my relaxing in so I'm ready to travel next week.

It's alongside Carson Pass in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, next to Silver Lake, about 20 miles south of Lake Tahoe.

Let's face it Cat, there are worse things to be in front of a judge for in Las Vegas :-)

But it does look like you got a life sentence ;-)a
