Anyway so how has everyone been? Recently had to have my PCB on my XTi fixed and decided it was time to upgrade so picked up a used 5D that should be here Tuesday.

Tender is part of the loco....the whitewalls are even worse than paint....they are reflective tape! I have no idea what genius decided that would be a good idea. I don't know if this one will ever get restored.

Reflective tape? The ones on our locomotive are painted...

This locomotive is a former Coos Bay Lumber Company tank engine that is being evaluated for potential restoration. It's torn apart waiting for a boiler untrasound. If it passes, then restoration will commence.
