Permie, I hear you on Dan and .tif's talent, that said I will also remind you who Dan comes to have his shots processed. :D:D:D

 I want you to know I'm not whining or complaining. Things come across so weird in print. I really am proud of them. I love being a sounding board for Dan's ideas. He makes me laugh and in this world, that is the thing I love to do the most. I mean that. And I couldn't be prouder of Tif. Not just because of her creativity either. But how she is as a person. And a mom. And a wife etc. And my Gus. Solid. Responsible. I am proud of him too.

I really enjoyed these. I can see that Harley barrels out of the water as fast as she leaps in. And that Sookie seems to come out of the water like our dogs. More like "I've got what you wanted and I'm bringing it back with style" Both dogs look happy & healthy. Sookie has a fabulous build. I know they are both from champions and you certainly can see it in their lines. *wants a sookie pup*

I know of a few IWS that have gone over to the states, so it's a possibility. You will have to start shooting though :-)

How old are your girls now? Harley really demonstrates that "I need to work. Just give me a job." (both physically and mentally full of drive and determination) that you want to see in a working dog. Once she gets a bit older and is more patient off her mark, she's going to be fabulous. Sookie, she's a doll. She's so young still. You can tell she wants to do her job so she's looking on track, but isn't very confident yet. I was so surprised she gave that up to Harley. Neither of our dogs would yield the retrieve to the other.

Harley is 17 months and Sookie is 11 months (but a young 11 months :-) )

Harley is a lot more steady that that with me. She is not used to working with Teresa and was a little confused (and excited). Next time Oliver is over I will get him to film how she is doing.

Toys they will play with but when Harley sees a dummy (or a rabbit or bird) then she is on a mission and no one will get in her way :-)

Dragon. I literally couldn't sleep last night (7 am before I dozed) so I read that Beverly Connor book. I really enjoyed it, first new author in ages that I've liked so much. Which of course makes me very happy to have found a new author and very frustrated that I have a new author that is difficult to find.:lol:

Glad you liked it!
I suppose, part of the pleasure of a good author/book, is the whole 'hard to come by/having to wait for' part, lol.
I am a few chapters in to her second book in that series, have the third on the shelf and the fourth on order

I will be happy to share :)

So far, though, the Lindsay series remains elusive

lol. It would be safer for the dog if I never shot

Our Hale is 21 months old and she's not "settled down" yet so I see much maturity in Harley at 17 months that I didn't see in our dogs (could be the breed difference too, or just training differences). Kona is 27 months and he's really settled down...become a great dog. Responding to all the things we've been working on for the last 25 months.:lol: I was really proud of him on our last outing. Responding to commands and not defiant (he's been a willful one that's for sure).

Yum! One of my favorites!

My contribution to the Bowl-nic at my sisters is Artichoke-jalepeno dip (warmed in a bread bowl, topped with fresh parmesan) and the always favorite French Onion dip. There will be breads, crackers and veggies for every dippers preference :)

Looks like POTN is slowing down to a painful crawl again. Good thing we don't seem to be in any hurry to move the saloon today...

Lol!!
I just did something I rarely do. I ordered them. :o I went to amazon and bought used where I could (hopefully) reliably do so and new when I couldn't. (I'm hoping the "used" dealers are reliable...it's the Lindsay books and that series has been just so frustrating to find.) I haven't enjoyed a new author this much since I discovered Nevada Barr. I rarely read a whole book in one sitting.

oooh that sounds wonderful.
Dan's doing nachos here. I'm starving already  I'm so tired though that I'm glad we decided not to go anywhere today.

and after I read these books, my mom wants to but after that, if you want to borrow the ones you haven't found, you can.

:o I don't know if I got all of them..lol but I tried. :o I have to find a list.
And back then, I got the Jim Butcher books too. That's the first time I've ever done that. You are a bad influence. (although I do NOT have the, now 3, newest JB books).
