When'd Dan start naming coffee brands?

Lucky grandsons getting to hear that first one over Christmas?

Not even I could come up with names as weird as these...

You should hear Tif's stories. She's a natural. :D

BECKY.... listen close. He keeps saying 'river'.

Although, right now, it might actually be considered a river to you. ;)
St George can't handle this much rain, it will flood every time.
In 2005 there were houses lost into that river.

It certainly passes as a river now. How much rain have you gotten and in what period of time? What are they saying about Zion? If they got the rain also, that waterfall cave is going to be one nice waterfall now.

EDIT: Only thing missing in your flood is a mess of drowning bronze kids. ;)

We just booked a wedding. No pressure, rehearsal tomorrow night, wedding Thursday night. *shrugs*

Seriously. Friends of ours, son is getting married. They weren't going to have a photographer as they are watching all expenses. The wedding is family only. His parents asked about using us and they would pay as a wedding gift. Their son was thrilled and mom and dad are happy to have more than snapshots of the ceremony. Then again they haven't seen a lot of our work. ;)

Well, I crashed at 430, HARD...didn't hear Blondie get up this morning (going for rotten mother of the year), thankfully she got herself ready for school and either she or Daddy got Toolman his breakfast...and I snoozed on the couch with Toolman sitting on me and completely forgot about trio practice at church at noon, so it didn't work out so well. And I need a nap, lol.

While he is a master of twisting statistics while mixing it with dramatic music, scenes, and chopped up and stitched news clips, very little he says is real. Everything I have seen from him has been a gross misrepresentation of reality.

We actually have a very good medical system here. While there is issues there are really very few people that can't get care in this country. They may not be able to get top of the line cozy care like those of us who spend a lot on good insurance but they get excellent care. I have known homeless junkies and illegal immigrants(yes really, I have known a lot of not "normal" people) That have got daily care for abscess from drug use and have had babies all for free. The bill gets passed on to the tax payer but that is okay with me.

We have nothing like the hit or miss system it seems you guys have. I have ranted here on it in the past so I won't but go into all the details but to my eye you guys are dealing with an incredibly dysfunctional poor excuse for a medical system. All the mistakes, poorly administered and substandard tests my sis got in her "care" over there aside, the fact that they have done away with alcohol swabs and just wipe the injection spot with a dry swab should say it all.

I don't mean to sound like I am beating up the Brits or their system I just get sick of all the advocates for socialized medicine pointing over there saying "look, they have "free" coverage, it HAS to be better".

Yo

You bring up some good points.

Wow, that's a lot of water for St. George.

It's not just St. George... All of Southern California has been slammed by the rain and the forecasters are saying the worst is yet to come. We've already had one power failure, albeit brief, today and water has gotten into one of the outside circuits on our house and the breaker has tripped and won't reset. It isn't a necessary circuit, but it means we can't do laundry until things dry out.
