I learned yesterday afternoon that my Osprey photo won 2nd place in the Overall Best of Show category in our local (Star Valley 2010) photo contest. $100 prize comes with the honor.

That's really an amazing Osprey shot; congrats! Were you in a blind? Or did it just let you stalk in that close?

A well-deserved award! Great capture, especially w/ a 300. How did you ever get so close?

Thanks for the kind comments. My 'blind' was a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee - I was perhaps 35 feet away.

Have found a car makes a very good blind, too. I recommend it highly!:D
