Id say so, I would have put the gold ball behind the red though. Too much reflection.

Don't know what to compare it to, but if you've previously gotten gray backgrounds instead of white, you've succeeded in making them very white, that's for sure. However, you've got a lot going on there in terms of unnecessary reflections and flat lighting. As someone else pointed out, using non reflective balls, like the red one, would have been less distracting. Are you main light and fill light at the same power here, the light seems to be flat. With children, I don't typically go after lighting ratio that are too contrasting, but one stop less on the fill is a bit more natural.

I like that you had the santa hat on correctly, too often it is placed such that the tassle doesn't show and it just looks like a red hat with a white brim. Her expression is forced. I find that if children aren't able to smile naturally, it is often better to just allow them to not smile and instead give a wide eyed sweet gaze into the camera. Your focus is bang on though, and you got come nice catch lights in the eyes!

I agree about the ornaments and the lighting being a little flat. I also think that she should be angled and not so straight on.
