I've never used Noiseware and one of my relatives offered me his copy. Which one is better in reducing noise? ACR (PS CS5) or Noiseware? How do they compare with each other? What can I do in one that I can't do in the other? Should I grab Noiseware even though I already have CS5?

Expose well and you don't need noise reduction unless you're shooting ISO3200+ and need to make huge prints. Noise reduction also reduces detail.

They are both quite good actually. If you shoot mostly RAW then ACR fits right in with your work flow. The latest version is as good as anything out there.

Don't think you can go wrong with either one after a little experience and experimenting.
