It's brand new. Everything works fine expect the little gap showing on pic. When you push and pull, you can actually hear the clicking sound. I don't remember my old Q3T had this issue.

I verified with one of my friend, his new Q10 has the same issue. pic below is from his new Q10 (I don't have studio light)

I wonder anybody else has the problem with new Markins mark II version?

There's a little play in a new Q3T I have and there is none in my older Q3T. The new ballhead works fine but there is no clicking sound. There's a fair amount of turning play in the knob but this is normal.

Have you asked Markins about it? Maybe it's not a problem.

I already emailed Markins about this. waiting for reply.

I don't think it's a big problem, just don't want getting dusts inside of it.

i've got a tiny bit of play on both the q3tmarkII and the q20, but no clicking sounds. always have a neoprene lens pouch on my ballheads unless theyre in active use, to help prevent dust intrusion.

Reply from Markins, see below:

That is very normal. The knob must be pulled a bit, and also it should wiggle a bit left and right.
