Need a reccomendation for a good short distance prime lens for a full frame camera

I am looking for a good macro prime lens with wide aperature( f2 or so) 50 to 70 mm range.

I already have the canon 50 mm 1.4 prime but I find myslef in need of something with macro capability.

I recenetly have read a good review on the Tamron 60mm F2 Macro Di II but from what I read its desigend mainly for use with a C-frame sensor and I am not sure how wel it would work on my 1Ds MKI.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
