G3 double downloads??

Hi,

I'm hoping somone knows the answer to this. I've tried for a week to figure it out, and can not.

With my G3, whenever I download my pics from my camera via Zoombrowser, it double downloads them ...one horizontally, the other vertically. Example one pic might be bird0017, the next bird0017-r (where it's turned to the right).

Does anyone know why this is happening? This has to be the G3 doing it, because I use the same software to download from my Canon A20 and that does not happen with that one....

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!

Robert

In the preferences menu of ZB, there is a rotation tab. You can specify if you want to rotate the original image or rotate a copy. I believe the default it to rotate a copy, and it appends an "R" to the file name.

hi,

yeah agree with dave but for me it only happens with those images that were taken vertically with the auto-orientation sensor switched on - it downloads them as if they were horizontal and then turns them to give you the image in order to (i believe) save you the time doing it yourself.

go fig.
